Four, A solis ortus cardine, Inclina Domine, Confitebor tibi and Iudica me Deus, receive significant first recordings. And the immense hymn setting Media vita, perhaps intended for fellow composer Nicholas Ludford’s obsequies, makes for a glorious finale.
